Treatment of Panic Disorder: Holy Grail?

A lot of products attempt to create a treatment of panic disorder. I've tried many and many, and some have been terrible and some have been decent. I've learned a few techniques to make my last panic attack my panic attack last (cool word transition I know). I recently met with (I know, like in person, for real) the owner of a new product called Panic Away. Before the interview, he sent me a free copy of his book to see if I could review it.

The thing I liked about him, he's one of us. He was a sufferer, and he found many solutions. His treatments of panic disorder are interesting and informative. He gets excited about the topic, and as a result, he can get longwinded and fast paced when he speaks about treatment of panic disorder. Luckily, this doesn't translate into the book.

Enough with my interview of social anxiety disorder treatment specialist Brad. Let's get to the book.

My favorite part of the book is that it is more than a mere book. He includes free coaching, audio files, and presentations which aid in the understanding of the techniques. Personally I was blown away by these additions. The book itself is well-written (except for the occasional typo, gotcha Brad) and provides excellent techniques. While the techniques are not perfect (75-80% of them helped me), they are better than most options I have seen. This is one of the few online products that I can recommend for treatment of panic disorder.

My review of Panic Away:

Ease of Use: 4/4 (coaching, audio, and presentations make it braindead easy)
Effectiveness: 3.7/4 (almost all techniques work, 75-80% worked for me)
Price: 3.9/4 (just the book, with the addon's it is a 4+/4)
Overall: 3.9/4

With Love,

Attack Panic Stop
